The Rangitāne Waiata Rau is a collection of waiata that celebrates the stories, history, identity, and aspirations of Rangitāne. This songbook has been created to help preserve and share our waiata with current and future generations, strengthening our connection to te reo Māori, our culture, and one another.

To support your learning, each waiata is accompanied by access to audio recordings via YouTube, allowing you to listen, practise, and gain confidence in both the words and melody.
